Jodi Gold, MD, is a board-certified adult and pediatric psychiatrist and a clinical assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College. Gold specializes in child and adolescent pharmacology, reproductive psychiatry, mood disorders, the management of digital technology, and more. She has taught countless medical students, psychologists, residents, and fellows.

As a national and international speaker, Gold often speaks on her developmental approach to managing digital technology in children and adolescents. Ultimately, she put this extensive knowledge into the book Screen-Smart Parenting: How to Find Balance and Benefit in Your Child’s Use of Social Media, Apps, and Digital Devices, which was Book of the Year runner-up by the National Academy of Nursing.

Gold earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her medical training at the University of Tennessee. After medical school, she completed a residency in psychiatry at Weill Cornell College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in pediatric psychiatry at Cornell. She also completed a clinical fellowship in infant psychiatry, where she focused on reproductive psychiatry as well as early parenting and attachment.
