Myriam Alizo, BS, is the associate director for the Center for Parent Information and Resources. In this role, she engages with diverse populations, manages the CentersConnect online community, and assists parent centers with their annual data collection. Alizo also led the English-Spanish OSEP Glossary Project, which included the translation of over 400 terms related to IDEA Parts B and C. 

In 2017, Alizo participated in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Professional Fellows Program in Brunei, bringing ideas for families of children with disabilities to start and run special education advisory groups in their communities. She also is the assistant project director for the National RAISE Center.

Alizo has a bachelor of science degree in electronic engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar in Caracas, Venezuela.
